EVERY single ingredient in this Chendol is thoughtfully sourced! From the chendol jelly, which is made fresh every day, to the pure gula melaka which is imported from Sarawak. The coconut milk is cold pressed to give it the extra omph and adzuki beans, which is cooked over charcoal fire, are being used

Old Amoy Chendol was the brainchild of Mr Zhao You Ning, who re-created this delicious dessert based on his grandfather's recipe. You Ning's grandfather used to sell Chendol off the pushcart in Amoy and hence the name Old Amoy Chendol was born, in remembrance of him.
Old Amoy Chendol has been expanding to multiple locations in Singapore and he has recently collaborated with Hawkers Collective, a social enterprise, to help aspiring hawker / hawker-preneurs enter into the hawker trade. The goal of this collaboration is to perpetuate Heritage Food Legacy through supporting Hawkers to achieve business goals given that Singapore's hawker food has been recognized as a UNESCO heritage.
