Mr. Andrew Tan, owner of Soon Heng 

With his continuous passion for cooking since young, Mr Andrew Tan left his well-paid job as an IT division head of a Multinational Company and started selling Soon Heng Pork Noodles in November 2018. He opened his first stall at a Kopitiam on the junction of Neil Road and Keong Saik Road, which attracts the regulars (Middle-aged uncles & Office staff) to start streaming in even before the lunch hours.

Mr Andrew Tan learnt his cooking from his mum, who has been selling the famous bak chor mee at Block 538 Bedok North Market and Food Centre since 2013.

And today, Soon Heng Pork Noodles has become one of the most popular bak chor mee stall in the CBD area
